Welcome to our Art Studio
Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Oakleigh South is a premium childcare centre, focussed on optimising your child’s learning and development. We have recently launched our new Art Studio at our centre and under the guidance of a dedicated art teacher and guest artists, children will embark on a journey of artistic discovery, learning valuable skills such as critical thinking and communication while expressing themselves authentically. Our new Art Studio allows us to provide a unique extra-curricular with weekly art classes, to extend on your child’s interests and support them to develop holistically.
Miss Michelle!
Michelle is very excited to bring her love of all things art to Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Oakleigh South. Michelle has a degree in Fine Art from Monash University and has been glass-blowing for over 15 years; making her own glass art, assisting other artists and teaching workshops.
Michelle is also a children’s yoga teacher and has taught in childcare centres, kindergartens, and schools for over 10 years! 
The core of Michelle’s art classes is to provide children with opportunities to explore various art forms and materials focusing on the process rather than the end result. Michelle hopes to foster a love of creating and encourage self-expression through exploration and experimentation.

What’s On
Join us in our dedicated Art Studio at Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Oakleigh South for our wonderful paint and sip classes for children. Our Art Studio is a safe, creative space where your little one will play with paint, splash in the colours, sip on a fruit smoothie, and enjoy step-by-step guidance from our Art Teacher Michelle.
Parents, you are invited to enjoy a free barista coffee or tea while your little artists are getting creative. We can’t wait to meet you and your little one, to enjoy a morning of creative fun!
We encourage families looking for childcare in the future to attend and experience Imagine Oakleigh Souths’s exceptional care first-hand while your child enjoys our fun and exciting art class. Please note that children must not be left unattended. Parents/guardians must remain at the centre with their child for the duration of the Paint & Sip Class.
