Welcome to our Art Studio
Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Oakleigh South is a premium childcare centre, focussed on optimising your child’s learning and development. We have recently launched our new Art Studio at our centre and under the guidance of a dedicated art teacher and guest artists, children will embark on a journey of artistic discovery, learning valuable skills such as critical thinking and communication while expressing themselves authentically. Our new Art Studio allows us to provide a unique extra-curricular with weekly art classes, to extend on your child’s interests and support them to develop holistically.
Miss Michelle!
Michelle is very excited to bring her love of all things art to Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Oakleigh South. Michelle has a degree in Fine Art from Monash University and has been glass-blowing for over 15 years; making her own glass art, assisting other artists and teaching workshops.
Michelle is also a children’s yoga teacher and has taught in childcare centres, kindergartens, and schools for over 10 years! 
The core of Michelle’s art classes is to provide children with opportunities to explore various art forms and materials focusing on the process rather than the end result. Michelle hopes to foster a love of creating and encourage self-expression through exploration and experimentation.
