Big News for Our Community: Imagine Blakeview Selected for 3-Year-Old Preschool Program in 2026!
We’re excited to share some wonderful news with our Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Blakeview families — our centre has been chosen to take part in the South Australian Government’s brand-new 3-Year-Old Preschool Program, launching in 2026!
This initiative, announced by the South Australian Premier, will give thousands of children across the state access to two years of quality preschool education before they start school — and we’re proud to be one of the first centres to be part of it.
What does this mean for our families?
Starting in 2026, eligible 3-year-olds at Imagine Blakeview will be able to participate in a preschool program led by qualified early childhood teachers. This is a huge step forward in giving young children the best possible start to their learning journey — and it supports what we’ve always believed here at Imagine: the early years truly matter.
Our team already delivers a rich, play-based learning program that supports children’s development across all areas — socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. With the new government program, we’ll be able to offer even more opportunities for growth and school readiness, backed by the latest research in early childhood education.
